See what your donation can help make possible
Every part of rhino care and protection carries a real monthly cost. Some supporters are able to fund a full month of care, protection or field support. Others give a smaller amount that contributes meaningfully towards the same need.
Whether your gift helps buy feed, support a ranger, care for a calf in ICU, or protect a rewilded rhino, every donation becomes part of the daily work that keeps rhinos safe.
Please note that your donation supports the broader rhino care and conservation fund, allowing Care for Wild to direct resources where they are needed most.

Help fund a month of rhino care
Rhino rehabilitation is not a single rescue moment. It is a long journey of specialist care, nutrition, protection, monitoring and patient rehabilitation. These monthly amounts show what it typically costs to support a rhino at different stages of care.
Funds grazing support for a rewilded rhino.
Rewilded rhinos need protected landscapes, ongoing monitoring and carefully managed habitat. This monthly amount helps support grazing and the conditions needed for rhinos to thrive in a protected wild environment.
Your support helps protect the future these rhinos were rescued for.
Funds supplemental feed for a rewilded rhino.
Even after rewilding, some rhinos may still require supplemental feed as they adjust to life in protected wild spaces. Your support helps bridge the journey from care to full independence.
Your gift supports rhinos as they continue their journey back to the wild.
Funds Boma care for a weaned calf.
Once a calf is weaned, their care still includes feed, supplements, boma management, health checks, monitoring and gradual preparation for the next phase of rehabilitation.
Your donation helps support a calf as they grow stronger and more independent.
Funds Boma care with milk bottle feeding.
Some calves still rely on milk bottle feeding while beginning to adapt to a safer rhythm of rehabilitation. This monthly amount helps support milk, feeding routines, boma care and daily monitoring.
Your support helps provide nourishment, routine and reassurance during a vulnerable stage.
Funds High Care for a rhino in rehabilitation.
High Care supports rhinos who are gaining strength but still need close monitoring, specialist nutrition, rehabilitation support and daily care from the team.
Your gift contributes to the steady care needed between rescue and recovery.
Funds ICU care for a rhino calf
ICU care supports the most vulnerable rhinos during the earliest and most critical stage of recovery. This may include specialist nutrition, intensive monitoring, veterinary support, medication, bedding, cleaning and round-the-clock attention.
You can fund the full monthly amount or contribute any amount towards ICU care.
Help protect rhinos in the field
Rhino protection depends on trained people, trusted animals, field equipment, security operations and daily presence on the ground. Anti-poaching support helps protect rhinos in Care for Wild’s care and those already returned to protected wild spaces.
Funds a ranger
This monthly amount helps support a ranger, including the essential costs connected to keeping skilled protection teams active in the field.
Your gift helps keep trained people on the ground where protection is needed most.
Funds a Mounted Unit rider and horse
The Mounted Unit helps protect large landscapes with mobility, visibility and field presence. This monthly amount supports both rider and horse, including the essential costs of field operations.
Your support helps protect rhinos across the landscapes they depend on.
Funds a K9 handler and dog
The K9 Unit plays an important role in anti-poaching protection and field response. This monthly amount supports a handler and dog, helping keep this specialist protection team operational.
Your support helps strengthen the protection system around vulnerable rhinos.
